VERBO TO BE
Verbo to be é um verbo irregular sendo escrito de formas diferentes nas conjugações.
PRESENTE SIMPLES (Simple Present) é a forma mais comum e portanto começamos por aqui.

UM DETALHE RELEVANTE:
O verbo to be pode funcionar como verbo principal ou como verbo auxiliar, mas não é usado como auxiliar junto com “do/does/did”.
Quando to be é verbo principal Ele não precisa de do/does/did.
Exemplos:
He is happy.
They were late.
Are you tired?
Errado:
Do you are tired?
Did they were late?
